Adult Basic Education - English, Maths and Digital Literacy

Studying an English (Communication), Maths (Application of Number) or Digital Literacy course for Adults with Cardiff and Vale College could help you to:

• Gain a qualification (Essential Skills or Agored)
• Prepare for work or a further college course
• Improve everyday skills
• Gain confidence to support everyday life or work 

There are classes to suit everyone, from Entry 1 to Level 2 with dates and times to fit around your life.

Courses start in September, January and April. 

Before you enrol onto the course that’s right for you, you will complete a screener to determine your starting level and have a chat with a tutor or advisor so we can place you in the class that is right for you.

The 11-week courses run for 6 hours a week and will be a mix of face to face, online teaching and independent study. You are expected to commit to the full 6 hours.
