About this course

This course is designed for adult learners.

What you will study

The Digital Literacy course will help you develop a range of skills that enabling you to live, learn and work in our digital society. These skills can be used on a smart phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.

You will:

  • demonstrate how to safely interact digitally
  • know what is meant by a digital footprint
  • be able to organise and store digital information
  • be able to select digital information
  • know how digital collaboration can be useful when carrying out a task
  • be able to create a multimedia digital resource
  • know how digital literacy can extend learning opportunities

Teaching and assessment

This qualification will be assessed through set tasks and the creation of a learner portfolio.
