Cardiff and Vale College has been shortlisted for five prestigious UK-wide Tes Further Education Awards, placing it among the top colleges in the country.

Cardiff and Vale College A Level learner Maddison Parkhouse has been granted the privilege of becoming a Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet for Mid Glamorgan.

Jack Grey, a Junior Journalist on an apprenticeship scheme run by Cardiff and Vale College in partnership with BBC Cymru Wales and ITV Wales, has been shortlisted for a Top Scoop Award by the National Council for the Training of Journalists.

Cardiff and Vale College A Levels student Oscar Griffin will be travelling to Cambridge in the next academic year, having been accepted to read Classics at the prestigious university.
