About this course

The 1 day PRINCE2® Practitioner course builds on the Prince2 Foundation principles of project management methodologies. This course will enable candidates to apply and tailor the PRINCE® principles, themes, and processes to enhance projects' productivity and operational functioning. They will also learn about various essential topics such as delivery approaches, seven themes, project management team roles, project product description, tailoring the DP process, embedding PRINCE2®, and many more.

At the end of this PRINCE2® Practitioner course, delegates will be able to delegate tolerances and report actual and forecast progress effectively. They will also be able to quickly prepare the risk management, change control, quality management, and communication management approaches.

Attaining this PRINCE2® certification enables candidates to demonstrate and enhance their project management proficiency - contributing to elevated business acumen and career prospects.

What you will study

PRINCE2® Practitioner Training

The PRINCE2® Practitioner element of the combined course forms the final part of the training where the candidate learns to apply their acquired knowledge. Candidates will be educated on how to apply the methodology to a set of scenarios and how to efficaciously lead a project. 

Included within our PRINCE2® Practitioner Training Course is a detailed workbook for candidates to complete, which will enhance their knowledge acquisition and ability to apply PRINCE2® to their organisation. This additional PRINCE2® training material will improve a candidate's chances of passing the examination and having a successful PRINCE2® career. This self-study workbook will take 10 hours to complete and will walk you through a full PRINCE2® project.

Teaching and assessment methods

This 1 day course is delivered online via a virtual Classroom, 9am- 5pm. You will need a PC/Laptop with microphone and camera. 

Learners will book their own exams at a time to suit them.

PRINCE2® Exam Preparation Workbook

The exam preparation workbook ensures and validates that you have the knowledge and confidence to pass your exam.

The exam preparation workbook comprises of mock questions, applicable scenario-based projects, and is known to further elevate pass marks. Please note that this exam preparation workbook and instructions of how to book your exam can be found in your Joining Instructions, received upon enrolment. Completion of the workbook prior to sitting the exam is highly recommended to maximise your chances of passing.

The PRINCE2® Practitioner examination focuses on the ability to apply PRINCE2® to an example scenario.

Type of Questions: Objective testing, a type of multiple choice.

Number of Marks: 68 marks, each online question is worth 1 mark.

Pass mark: 38 marks, 55%.

Exam duration: 2 hours 30 Minutes.

Material allowed: This PRINCE2® practitioner exam is an ‘Open Book’.
