Our popular Vocational Access courses help you develop your skills, qualifications and discover what you enjoy, so you can progress onto a higher-level course in college or into work.
You will choose two career-focused options to learn during your course. You can choose from Catering, Health and Social Care, Sport, Public Services, Media, Art, IT, Building Trades, Hair and Barbering, Beauty, Customer Service, Business, Plumbing and Electrical, Performing Arts, Mechanics and Music. We recommend you pick two options that you enjoy and you’d like to progress onto to study or work in.
On the course you’ll take part in group projects and live briefs with employers, trips, visit or work placements. You also continue to develop your skills in English, Maths, with some students choosing to re-sit their GCSE in these subjects at the same time.
