Cardiff and Vale College’s Sports Academies have celebrated another outstanding year at the CAVC 2025 Sport Awards.

Roxy Hale, a former Cardiff and Vale College Access to Health Sciences learner, has won Agored Cymru’s nation-wide Access to Higher Education Learner of the Year Award for Outstanding Commitment to Study.

Cardiff and Vale College have been crowned champions at the inaugural Welsh Colleges Varsity after going head-to-head with Gower College Swansea over six sporting events.

Cardiff and Vale College’s Basketball Academy has won the UK-wide Association of Colleges (AoC) Sport Championships in their discipline for the second year running.

Sports teams from Cardiff and Vale College and Gower College Swansea will go head to head in a series of matches at the inaugural Welsh Colleges Varsity held in Cardiff on Friday, 11th April 2025.
