The academy also revealed its new sponsors this year to be ARO, the College’s IT support provider formerly known as Circle IT.

CAVC Head of Sport, Tourism and Public Services James Young said: “We would like to say a massive ‘thank you’ to our sponsors ARO and Castell Howell for their support of our Rugby Academy. Without this sponsorship, such as Castell Howell sponsoring the Academy’s trip to Thailand last year to compete in the World Schools Festival, our players wouldn’t have the amazing experiences that we are so proud to offer them.”

The CAVC Rugby Academy is one of the College’s renowned sports academies. Made up of students from across the College, the academies provide a supportive and professional environment that combines first-class coaching and facilities with vocational or academic study, allowing young people to progress in their sporting careers while studying at CAVC.
