Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL)

TEL is all about using technology to enhance your learning at CAVC. This includes eTutorial, {develp}, blended learning and any technology you use during or outside your lesson to support your learning.

The TEL team at CAVC have a number of opportunities for you to get involved in, including the Makerspace. With lots of different, new and exciting technologies to try out, including:

• Travelling the world in Virtual Reality (VR)
• Robotics and coding
• 3D Modelling and printing
• Create videos and use green screens for personalised backgrounds
• Create and play your own games.

The Makerspace is a must place to visit for anyone excited by new technologies. You can find it, and the TEL team on the third floor of the Success Centre at City Centre Campus.

Opportunities for you this summer!

Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Days

This summer, the team are holding two TEL days on campus for you to come along and try out some of the technologies available and to take part in some fun competitions with prizes such as headsets and Amazon vouchers.

Activities on the day will include:

• Virtual Reality experiences
• Audio and visual production
• And competitions in 2D and 3D illustration, Esports and Minecraft

These optional sessions will be held on Thursday 11^th August 2022 at our City Centre Campus and Thursday 18^th August 2022 at our Barry Campus. Food and drink will be provided.
