I didn’t enjoy school that much, so moving over to College allowed me to have a fresh start. I chose this course because I was aware of the great facilities here and the excellent teaching. Studying Sport full-time has given me opportunity to focus on something I really care about rather than spending my time on subjects I wasn’t that interested in. The mix of theory and practical elements have helped me deepen my knowledge of the subject and improve my performance on the field too.
Students who have previously studied this course often progress to the Level 2 Diploma in Sport. Another pathway our students chose is the Level 2 Health, Fitness and Well-being course for those who want to follow a slightly different route and are interested in gym instructing and personal training. Progression to Level 3 Sport studies can lead to studying sports courses at university including sports rehabilitation and massage and further job opportunities in the sports sector including the coaching sector.
