About this course

Scrum is an agile framework that enhances software delivery, through encouraging short, high-effort, collaborative, and extremely productive team “sprints”, instead of working on a longitudinal, motivation-deflating, and resource-consuming project. A Scrum Team consists of a Scrum Master, a Product Owner, and the Scrum Development Team.

What you will study

This Scrum Master Certification consists of two days of classroom-based training, combining instructor-led teaching and practical exercises. On the final day of the course, you will take a 1-hour Scrum Master exam to confirm your knowledge.

This course covers the following topics:

  • Module 1: Introduction to Lean, Agile, and Scrum
  • Module 2: Overview of Scrum
  • Module 3: Scrum Artefacts
  • Module 4: Sprints and the Scrum Framework
  • Module 5: Roles and Responsibilities
  • Module 6: The Scrum Master
  • Module 7: Facilitation, Coaching, and Servant Leadership
  • Module 8: Collaborate Decision Making
  • Module 9: Scaling and Adaptation
