About this course

The ITIL® 4 Foundation course provides the latest information relating to the ITIL service management syllabus. The course thoroughly covers the new advances from the digital transformation the world has seen, commonly referred to as Industry 4.0. Individuals will study new business strategies and customer needs.

This 2 day course runs regularly, delegates will arrange course start dates directly with the course provider once they have been approved for funding.

This FREE course is only available to adults that are eligible for a Personal Learning Account (PLA). Personal Learning Accounts, funded by the Welsh Government, are available to employed adults living in Wales that wish to develop skills to progress or change career.

What you will study

  • How ITIL builds upon and support Lean, Agile, DevOps, and other project and process management practices
  • The seven guiding principles of ITIL 4
  • ITIL service value system
  • The four dimensions of service management
  • The ITIL practices; understanding the purpose and key terms of all 15, with an in-depth understanding of seven

Teaching and assessment

This 2-day course is delivered online via a virtual classroom, mostly on weekdays (9:00am - 6:00pm).

You will need a PC/Laptop with microphone and camera.

Following 2 days of study, learners will book their own exams at a time to suit them.

Exam format: Multiple choice.

Number of questions: 40.

Duration: 60-minutes.

Pass mark: 26/40 (65%).

Open book: No.
