About this course

To become a certified ethical hacker and work within the industry you are required to undergo specialist training from an internationally known awarding body. 

The EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker course gives the necessary training and exam prep required for all individuals to start a career in the prosperous sector.

This 8x day course runs regularly, delegates will arrange course start dates directly with the course provider once they have been approved for funding.

This FREE course is only available to adults that are eligible for a Personal Learning Account (PLA). Personal Learning Accounts, funded by the Welsh Government, are available to employed adults living in Wales that wish to develop skills to progress or change career.

What you will study

Following the course, you will understand the foundation principles and techniques used while ethically hacking. Once successfully completing the course, you will be able to carry out the following tasks:

Preventing malicious hacks and attacks in the future.

Teaching and assessment

This 8 day course is delivered online via a virtual classroom (9:00am – 6:00pm).

No. of days: 8 days on weekdays

Week 1: Monday – Thursday 
Week 2: Monday – Thursday

There will be additional study hours, each evening in your own time.  

You will need a PC/Laptop with microphone and camera. 

Following 8 days of study, learners will book their own exams at a time to suit them.

EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker Exam Details

Exam format: Multiple-choice.
Number of Questions: 125.
Duration: 4x hours.
Pass mark: Ranges from 60% to 85%.

Exams MUST be booked within 30 days of the course.
