ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management - The Effective Leader

To successfully achieve your ILM Level 5 Award, you will be required to attend 4 mandatory workshops and 2 tutorial sessions with your tutor.

Modules

You will gain a deep understanding of leadership theory and styles, stronger communication and emotional intelligence skills, insight into linking strategy with real-world team delivery and the tools to develop and lead high-performing teams that meet organisation goals.

Assessment

This qualification consists of two leadership modules, each with a comprehensive written assignment. Self-study time is essential to help you complete your assignments and prepare for your assessment – so be sure to plan your schedule accordingly.

You will receive full support throughout, with guidance from your dedicated ILM tutor via email, Microsoft Teams, phone and during your tutorial days.

Once you have successfully passed both modules, you will be awarded your ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership Management Certificate, along with a digital credential badge to share and celebrate your achievement online.

You are eligible for this course if you:

• are aged 19 or over • are not in full time education
• can attend all workshop dates • ideally hold a A*- C in GCSE English or equivalent or higher (due to the academic nature of the assessment)
• are currently working in a Leadership and Management role, or have experience working in a Leadership and Management role

• The College welcomes contact with parents/guardians of students who are under 18.
