The assessments for the training course consists of a multiple choice on-line examination and practical assessment in a simulated environment. You must bring, 2x passport photographs and your qualification cerfificates on the first day of the course in order to sit the assessments on this course

Trainees should have a minimum • N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent earlier certification; or • N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilating (Domestic Installation) or equivalent earlier certification; or • N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilating (Industrial and Commercial Installation) or equivalent earlier certification; or • N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Oil-Fired Technical Services or equivalent earlier certification; or • N/SVQ Level 2/3 in Gas Installation and Maintenance or equivalent earlier certification: or • A minimum 3 years demonstrable relevant experience AND if not included in the above qualification: • Water Regulations/Water Byelaws • Unvented Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems Stand-alone technical certificates/Vocationally Related Qualifications (VRQ) (non-competency based) are NOT acceptable
