About this course

This Engineering EAL Diploma will suit anyone who is looking for a career in Engineering or in a Space related field. It allows you to learn the basics and try your hand at different trades and careers linked to both engineering and the space industry, to help you find out what you enjoy and what suits you most. You will gain the opportunity to experience mechatronics, electrical, electronic engineering, sustainability and engineering project management. On this course there are range of practical and theory sessions. You will gain an industry recognised Engineering qualification and you will have the opportunity to participate in space related industry visits.

What you will study

You will study Engineering Environmental Awareness, Engineering Techniques, Engineering Maths and Science, Project Management, CAD and Sustainability. You will be working with Rasberry Pi, Arduinos, Lidar and LoraWan.

Entry requirements

4 GCSEs Grade A* - D to include Mathematics A* - C, Science A*-C and GCSE English Language at A*-C. A suitable Level 1 Engineering qualification with Grade A*-C in Mathematics, Science A*-C and English Language Grade A*-C. Successful candidates could require PPE for this course, including steel toe cap boots and overalls.
