This Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills (CPCAB) course will suit anyone interested in developing their listening skills or beginning counselling training. This programme is interactive, as well as experiential, and students will be expected to write a reflective weekly journal to track their personal development, skills and understanding of helping at Level 2.

GCSE Grade A*-C in English Language or Level 2 in Essential skills Communication. Applicants without the above will be required to undertake an online skills assessment. An ability to write and submit online a 700 word reflective journal and complete written assignments is essential. Applicants must be 18 or over.

Assessment is via weekly reflective journals of 700 words.
Three assignments of 1,000 words, creating an online portfolio by the end of the course.
Successful completion of the Level 2 leads to the Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies Course based on a satisfactory tutor reference.
