What our students say

After I left school I got a job in retail but I soon realised it wasn’t for me. I’ve always been a practical person and I enjoy working with my hands so the Carpentry and Joinery course felt like a good fit. I know that learning this trade will stand me in good stead for the future in terms of employment opportunities. As I didn’t come straight from school my pathway onto this course was a little different, but I’ve always felt included and supported throughout my course. The tutors are amazing and the facilities are great here! Next year I’ll be looking to secure an apprenticeship locally and progress onto Level 3.
