Students need to achieve 39 credits for the diploma. Credits come from the mandatory group below:

• Health and Safety
• Principles of building, construction and communication
• Maintain and use carpentry and joinery portable power tools
• Produce woodworking joints
• Prepare and use carpentry and joinery portable power joints

The qualification will be have a number of practical and theory based units that will be delivered in the classroom and the workshop.

Assessment methods will be practical projects and online unit tests.

Students need to be under 19 years of age.
