Looking to pursue a career in the construction industry? You've come to the right place! This BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment will suit anyone with a keen interest to pursue a career as an Architect, Building Surveyor, Construction Manager, Civil Engineer, Quantity Surveyor or follow any other professional career pathway in the sector. The construction industry covers a wide range of employment opportunities, and this programme will allow you to gain the fundamental knowledge required for entry into the sector. You will also obtain a recognised qualification, which will act as a springboard into higher education.
This is the first year of a 2 year programme. The course is the equivalent to 1.5 A Levels per year and following successful completion of the 2 year programme, learners will have the equivalent of 3 A Levels and sufficient UCAS points to progress to University.

Additionally learners are required to have their own safety boots before starting the course. The boots can be bought from any retailer.
4 GCSE's Grades A* - C. Students are required to purchase their own safety boots. PPE/Equipment needed to study- Safety boots, work clothing or overalls to change for practical sessions. Students would also benefit from having access to a laptop or desktop device.
On completion of this course students can progress onto our HNC / HND pathways or to university to complete a degree in their chosen CBE pathway.
