What you will study

This course is delivered face-to-face at our City Centre Campus, from 9.30am – 4pm.  

Day 1: Tuesday 6th May 
Day 2: Wednesday 7th May

Day 3: Tuesday 20th May 
Day 4: Wednesday 21st May 

Throughout the course, you will gain essential teaching skills such as planning and delivering inclusive teaching sessions, assessing work and giving constructive feedback.

Topics covered:

  • Understanding Roles, Responsibilities and Relationships in Education and Training 
  • Understanding and Using Inclusive Teaching and Learning Approaches in Education and Training 
  • Understanding Assessment in Education and Training

To obtain the qualification, you will need to attend all practical workshops dated above, conduct self-study, write and submit academic assignments to set deadlines, and complete a micro-teaching assessment.

Part-time enrolment fee: £40.00

Exam Fee: £85.00

Entry requirements

Enrolment and Course Fees must be made upon enrolment.

You must:

  • Be aged 19 or over
  • Be able to attend all face-to-face sessions
  • Be willing to present to a group
  • Be able to dedicate time outside of the course to write Academic Assignments

  • Upload evidence of your highest qualification to date (GCSE’s, A Levels, Degree etc).

Upon application, you will be sent a questionnaire to complete. Once submitted, this will be reviewed, and a member of the team will be in touch to confirm if your application has been successful. Please note that applications will not be processed until this questionnaire is returned.
