About this course
The BTEC Level 2 Business Extended Certificate course is a practical, work related qualification. This course is equivalent to four GCSE at Grade A-C. Students learn by completing assignments that are based upon realistic workplace situations, activities and demands as well as two exams.

I’ve really enjoyed the course at CAVC, the teachers were great and gave me any support I needed. Due to the breadth of the course I think this would be a great course to study for anyone looking to work in the financial services sector.
I would definitely recommend studying at Cardiff and Vale College, as the college helped me to gain valuable work experience which allowed me to build my CV. Since I’ve left CAVC I have started a new role in Deloitte as a systems support analyst. I believe this course has helped me to succeed in the application process and has given a great variety of knowledge I can use in my current role.
