About this course

This course is an ideal stepping stone for anyone looking to improve their vehicle repair and maintenance skills, or an ideal stepping stone for those looking to progress into the large vehicle repair and recovery sector.

What you will study

All learners will develop their knowledge and skills in the following three units:

  • Health and safety practices in vehicle maintenance and good housekeeping in the automotive environment.
  • Tools, equipment and materials for vehicle maintenance.

Introduction to the retail automotive maintenance and repair industry.

Course fee per year

Part-time enrolment fee: £40.00

Entry requirements

Suitable candidates must have 4 GCSEs Grade A* - E to include Maths A* - E (or equivalent) and English A*-E (or equivalent). Alternatively, candidates must have some form of industry-relevant knowledge. PPE is required for this course, steel toe cap boots are essential.
