About this course

Our full-time Level 2 Body Repair course covers the main aspects of Vehicle Body Repair at an intermediate level. Training in our new Automotive Centre and workshops in Cardiff, students will work with real vehicles and panels, using equipment similar to that used in body shops. Candidates will also have access to our new state of the art vehicle spray booth, which has been recently installed. Throughout the duration of the programme, pupils will develop their skills and knowledge alongside industry qualified staff, whilst taking part in various work placements.

The course is run over two and a half full days, allowing students time for employment in the remainder of the week. The main qualification is the same as that used in the Vehicle Refinishing Apprenticeship, and can be used to fulfill part of the Apprenticeship Framework. The course is split 50-50 workshop and classroom based, and prepares the student for employment by giving a good grounding in the operation of a body shop.
