This is a qualification accredited by UAL. It is designed for learners who intend to start up their own project, company, or freelancing job.
You will work on project briefs while focusing on your own personal professional development. You will develop collaboration and networking skills to prepare for your freelance work or a self-employed career.
You will be required to self-manage and engage with external clients and industry personnel.
The course runs three days a week (Sept - June) to allow you flexibility to work alongside your own area of interest.

Unit 1: The Creative Entrepreneur Unit
This unit introduces the student to the requisite enterprise skills that are necessary to kick‑start a creative business venture or become a freelance practitioner.
Unit 2: The Creative Practitioner Unit
This unit will provide the student with the opportunity to define their enterprise ambitions by providing the necessary time and space to research and develop their creative ideas.
Unit 3: The Creative Enterprise Unit
This unit requires the student to develop, formalise and present a sustainable creative enterprise business plan.
5 GCSE's at Grade C or above, including English & Maths. 1x A level at grade or equivalent Level 3 qualification. Applicants will be invited to an interview to discuss their personal creative enterprise project. You must be 18+ years of age.
Employment / Self‑employment
Students completing this qualification may set up their own company, become a freelancer or progress directly into employment.
Higher Education
The qualification will support students to develop a portfolio of work, enabling them to progress to Higher Education courses.
