Counselling

Professionally-trained staff are available to help and support learners to enable them to stay on track with their learning.

Counselling takes place in a private and relaxed setting and counsellors work to strict rules of confidentiality and to the guidelines of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.  Learners can bring to the counsellors anything that is a worry or concern, such as family tensions, loss or bereavement, lack of self-confidence, difficulties with relationships, physical and sexual abuse, anxiety, depression and coping with crises or difficult decisions.
Counselling appointments are available throughout the week across all College sites.
