Apprenticeship in Technical Theatre

About the Course:

The Level 3 Apprenticeship in Technical Theatre: Sound, Light and Stage has been designed to allow learners to obtain and then demonstrate the knowledge and skills to work within the technical theatre support industry, including backstage operations. It could lead to employment as a technician in one or more of the following areas: maintenance supervisor or manager, senior stage technician or head flyman.

BIIAB Level 3 Certificate in Principles of the Creative and Cultural Sector
*City and Guilds Essential Skills Wales in Application of Number Level 2
*City and GuildsEssential Skills Wales in Communication Level 2
*City and Guilds Essential Skills Wales in Digital Literacy Level 2

Applicable if proxies are not available

Entry Requirements:

High standard of Numeracy, Literacy and Digital Literacy
Learners who do not have GCSE A*- C in Maths and English Language or Welsh First Language will complete Essential Skills Wales qualifications at Level 2

Important Points:

You must be: Employed for 16 hours or more each week in a suitable role
You must be: Living in Wales or Working 51% of your contract in Wales
You must be: Aged 16 or over
