About the Course:

The Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering Manufacture is part of the official Welsh Apprenticeship Framework FR05072, issued by Enginuity. It prepares apprentices for skilled technician level roles across engineering and manufacturing, including the aerospace sector.

The pathway is designed to develop the technical knowledge, practical skills and competence needed to work safely and effectively in aerospace engineering environments, such as:
Aircraft manufacturing 
Aerospace component production 
Fabrication, assembly and fitting 
Maintenance support and inspection 
Aerostructures and composite manufacture 

This pathway is suitable for apprentices who:
Are working in aerospace engineering or aerospace manufacturing environments 
Support aircraft component manufacture, assembly or maintenance 
Need to demonstrate Level 3 engineering craft or technician competence 
Want to progress toward more technical or supervisory roles in aerospace

EAL Level 2 Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations
EAL Level 3 NVQ Extended Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering
Essential Communication Skills Level 2 
Essential Application of Number Skills Level 2 
Essential Digital Literacy Skills Level 2

Entry Requirements:

The Level 3 Apprenticeship is suitable for applicants who have five GCSEs grade C (new equivalent grade 4) or above including Maths, English and a Science.

Important Points:

You must be: Employed for 16 hours or more each week in a suitable role
You must be: Living in Wales or Working 51% of your contract in Wales
You must be: Aged 16 or over
