Foundation Apprenticeship in Customer Service

Level(s): Level 2

Duration: 14 months

Location: Work Based

About the Course:

The Level 2 Customer Service apprenticeship is ideal for those whose primary role is providing customer service or involves some customer service as a supplementary role. The qualification provides for a broad range of customer service pathways through the wide selection of units of study.

Routes:

City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service
Essential Skills Wales in Application of Number Level 1
Essential Skills Wales in Communication Level 1

Applicable if proxies are not available

Entry Requirements:

Aged 16–24, or aged 25+ and within 12 months of commencing job role
Good level of Numeracy, Literacy and Digital Literacy
Learners without GCSE D–G in Maths and English Language or Welsh First Language will complete Essential Skills Wales qualifications at Level 1

Important Points:

Graduates are not eligible for this apprenticeship
You must be: Employed for 16 hours or more each week in a suitable role
You must be: Living in Wales or Working 51% of your contract in Wales
You must be: Aged 16 or over

Apprenticeship in Customer Service

Level(s): Level 3

Duration: 13 months

Location: Work Based

About the Course:

The Level 3 Customer Service Apprenticeship is designed for apprentices to develop a variety of skills and gain knowledge, whilst learning on the job. The range of optional units means the apprenticeship can be tailored around the needs of the job role and the business. The Level 3 Diploma is designed for individuals who may have already achieved the level 2 qualification and /or are looking to further improve their skills and knowledge.

Essential Skills Wales in Communication Level 2
