Cardiff and Vale College has been shortlisted for two prestigious Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) Awards.
Learner Joel Windsor has been shortlisted in the Student of the Year category. Last year saw Joel compete in the Vehicle Body Repair contests in Skills Competition Wales and the WorldSkills UK Finals and win the silver medal in both.
CAVC itself has also been shortlisted, the Contribution to the Work of the IMI Award. Last November, the College’s state-of-the-art Automotive Training Centre hosted the national finals of the WorldSkills UK Finals, showcasing the automotive industry and developing its future technicians.
