CAVC further strengthens university-level offer with range of brand new courses
Cardiff and Vale College’s university-level provision continues to go from strength to strength.
After becoming the first college in Wales to gain approval from the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education [QAA] last year, the College has added seven brand new courses to its already wide career-focused portfolio for the 2020-2021 academic year.
New courses include HND’s in Engineering, Business, Construction & Built Environment and Aeronautical Engineering, building on the College’s successful track record of training for these industries.There are two degrees that are highly regarded in the music industry – the BA in Electronic Music Production and the BMus in Music Recording and Performance. Whilst the innovativeBSc in Cyber Security opens doors to careers in many sectors.
CAVC works with a network of expert partner universities from across the UK to bring a wide range of HE courses to the Capital Region and now, with QAA approval, isnow able to develop and award its own HE courses.
The College offers a high quality, supportive and personalised HE experience. All HE courses include both face-to-face and online learning to fit around individual’s lives.
Success rates speak for themselves, with 98% of HE learners completing their course successfully achieving their qualification,with some outstanding results including courses such as the BEng Hons Aircraft Engineering where 80% of students achieved a 1st Class Honours Degree. Student satisfaction rates are alsogoing up annually, this year by 6%,to its highest level yet.
