On enrolment day

Remember to bring with you:

  • Your exam results

Don’t worry if you don’t have the grades you expected – come to your appointment. We can check your results and help to find a place and enrol you on to the right course for you.

  • A form of ID if you have not studied with CAVC before (this could be your National Insurance Card/ Passport/ another ID with you photo on).

Don't have ID? Come to your appointment anyway and we will see ID when you start your course.

At enrolment:

  • It is important to come to the college for your appointment, on the date and time in the email. We will not be able to enrol you earlier than the time you have been allocated on the day.
  • At the appointment you will chat with your teachers, show your exam results and enrol onto the right course for you. If you don't have the grades you were expecting our teachers and advisors will be there to help you look at the best option for you.
  • From the allocated appointment time, eligible students are enrolled on a first come, first served basis. The College has a statutory duty to prioritise full-time education for 16-18 year olds. Full-time learning is available for those age 19+, however, where a course is structured for 16-18 year olds, places will be prioritised for eligible learners within this age group, in line with national policy.
  • After getting a place, you'll then go to our enrolment centre to enrol and then have your college ID badge issued. This will require you to have your photograph taken.
  • It is a busy day at the college and the whole process can usually take around 2 hours.
