About this course

This introductory course in Welsh will allow learners to develop their spoken Welsh language skills in everyday situations. This course is aimed at learners who have little or no Welsh speaking experience.

What you will study

  • Learners will be able to engage in polite conversation using simple sentences relevant to topics and situation.
  • Using sentences, questions and expressions.
  • Be able to demonstrate a range of appropriate courtesies using informal language.
  • Be able to give and receive personal information about yourself and others.
  • Ask and answer questions about own and another person's hobbies/interests.

Teaching and assessment

Learners will be assessed on their speaking skills for each of the three topics.

Part-time enrolment fee: £15.00
