Assessment
To achieve this qualification, you will need to submit a portfolio of evidence at the end of the course, demonstrate knowledge of assessment and carry out a minimum of four assessments with a minimum of two other learners whilst being observed.
The assessment will take a holistic approach and will include recognition of prior learning, evidence of your work, witness testimonies, professional discussions, case studies, learner/reflective statements and observations of practice.
You will receive guidance and ongoing support from your tutor throughout your course, including during your tutorial session as well as via email, Microsoft Teams and phone. Self-study time is essential to help you complete your assignment, portfolio of evidence and prepare for your observation – so be sure to plan your schedule accordingly.
You will be expected to be committed to achieving the qualification over a period of 6-12 months and will need access to the internet and laptop.
