Delivered over 6 days, this qualification is aimed at experienced personnel working in the electrical industry, looking to gain an understanding of Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations together with Electrical Installation Condition Reports.

What you will study
One online multiple-choice examination and two practical inspection and testing assessments.
Pre-Course learning is essential. You must have a working knowldege of BS7671 A+22 and Guidance Note 3.

I chose to study at the College because of the facilities here and because I’d heard so many good things about it locally. I’ve really enjoyed improving my skills in the workshops, making friends and learning from the staff – they’re very knowledgeable. The College gave me the opportunity to compete in last year’s WorldSkills competition, which I really enjoyed. I was also lucky enough to win Learner of the Year for Building Services, this was another highlight for me. I’ve just been accepted on to a degree course at the University of Bath. Once I finish this, I’ll be looking to get some more work experience and then start my own business.
