Adult Mental Health First Aid is an important way of supporting employees and colleaguesin their mental wellbeing. This training develops the skills to spot when others are experiencing poor mental health and the understanding of how to approach a conversation to provide appropriate support.
You will learn the framework of the Mental Health First Aid action plan, which will provide you with the confidence to support others and will build on your awareness of the varied mental health challenges that people may experience.
This course is suitable for anyone who wishes to develop their knowledge of mental health and have the tools to provide Mental Health First Aid to others, whether in the workplace or in the community with friends and family.
This course is delivered across 2 full days (9.30am – 4.30pm) in a classroom environment.
This course is highly interactive and requires participants to work collaboratively with others, alongside personal self-reflection. The programme provides the foundation of mental health awareness with some practical tools to apply with others.
