About this course

This short 1.5 day introductory programme will help you develop your company’s waste and sustainability plans through clean growth and circular economy principles. By the end of the course, you will have produced an expert-guided bespoke carbon reduction plan for your business which can be implemented alongside other practical ideas. Helping your business to become a future-proof and sustainable brand.

Delivered by CEIC (Circular Economy and Innovations Communities) and Cardiff Metropolitan University this course will give you the opportunity to explore ways in which you can drive efficiency, cut costs and open new market opportunities. This will help your business reduce waste, extend product life cycles and embrace circular design.

This programme is perfect for business owners, sustainability officers, product managers and entrepreneurs looking to integrate sustainable practises into their operations. 

We have 3 dates and locations available to suit businesses across the region:

  • Tredomen Gateway, Ystrad Mynach, Hengoed, Caerphilly: 21st Jan and 4th February
  • Cardiff City Centre (venue TBC): 22nd January and 5th February 
  • Y Cwt, Longacre Farm, Pendoylan, Cowbridge: 28th January and 12th February

What you will study

Entry requirements

This programme is perfect for business owners, sustainability officers, product managers and entrepreneurs looking to integrate sustainable practises into their operations. In order to participate you must be 18+ and be living or working in the Cardiff Capital Region (Bridgend, Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Newport, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Torfaen, and the Vale of Glamorgan).
