If you already have some data analysis or programming experience, this Advanced Skills Bootcamp delivered by Iungo Solutions will enable you to design and implement data structures, architectures and pipelines to automate business processes and optimise workflows. Over 16 weeks, (1 day per week) you will delve into designing data architectures, building sophisticated databases and automated data pipelines, and data operations (DataOps) in the popular Microsoft Azure cloud architecture. You will learn to use popular industry grade tools including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Power BI. You’ll build upon your programming skills in some of the most versatile programming languages including Python, SQL and DAX.
Fully funded by Cardiff Capital Region and UK Government Funding, your application will be made directly with Iungo Solutions.

Throughout the Skills Bootcamp you will develop a portfolio to help you to prepare for progression or a career switch in Data Engineering, including undertaking a Green Data Analytics capstone project, to flaunt your enhanced Data Engineering, Analysis and Visualisation Skills. You will complete a Level 5 Certificate in Data Engineering and have the opportunity to undertake the Microsoft PL-300 exam to become a Microsoft Certified Power BI Analyst.
Teaching and Assessment Methods. Teaching is via 1 day per week classroom available both face to face or online hybrid. Assessment if via portfolio and online Microsoft examination. Qualifications:
The ideal applicant will have basic to moderate programming skills in any popular language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, R, SWL, C, C++, or C#. You should also have some experience using a database query language such as SQL, noSQL, MongoDB, or GQL. You may have worked in a junior data analyst, software developer, or business analyst role or undertaken significant hobbyist projects involving data analysis or software development. Alternatively, you may have a degree in a numerate subject such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Accounting and Finance, or Data Analysis. Whichever path you have taken, you should have a clear passion for applying data-driven solutions to solve problems and an understanding of the importance of data for businesses.
