About this course

The Working in Childcare qualification is a programme of accelerated learning that covers a level 1 and level 2 qualification. The course is designed for learners looking to progress quickly into the workplace and offers the learners the opportunity to develop softer care and employability skills alongside the core elements of the childcare qualification.

What you will study

Learners will study Equality and diversity, communication, and personal development skills along with the principles and care of children’s care, play learning and development, safeguarding and children’s health, wellbeing, learning and development.

Entry requirements

3 GCSE’s grade A*-C with a C in English Language or Cymraeg Gwaith. A full Enhanced DBS check is required on enrolment.
