The Level 4 Preparing for Leadership and Management in Children’s Care, Play, Learning and Development qualification consists of the following three units:

• Leading child-centred practice
• Theoretical frameworks for leadership and management
• Understand how to lead and manage effective team performance

Learners must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Children’s Care, Play, Learning and Development qualification (Practice or Practice and Theory) or a legacy qualification listed in the Social Care Wales Qualifications Framework for Social Care and Regulated Childcare in Wales.
