About this course
This course is ideal for students who have a keen interest in the world of business and want to develop practical knowledge and skills that will prepare them for further study or a career in the industry. It is an Extended Certificate in Business in Year 1, leading to an overall Diploma in Business at the end of Year 2, which is equivalent to two A Levels.
In the first year, students will explore key areas such as Exploring Business, Marketing, Personal and Business Finance, and Recruitment, providing a strong foundation in business principles.
In the second year, the course expands into more advanced topics, including Managing an Event, International Business, Principles of Management, and Digital Marketing, allowing students to gain valuable insights into business operations on both a national and global scale.
Along with this course, students will complete the Welsh Baccalaureate over the two years which is equivalent to 1 A Level.

Entry requirements
4 GCSEs Grades A* - C including English Language and Maths (or equivalent) or Business Level 2 qualification with GCSEs Grades A* - C in English Language and Maths (or equivalent). International students will require an IELTS score of 5.5 or above.
