About this course

This Level 1 Electric/ Hybrid Vehicle Awareness award is an introduction to electric/ hybrid vehicle technology. It is an introduction to the knowledge of safe working practices, such as the dangers surrounding an electric/ hybrid vehicle and the precautions required to avoid potential injury when near an electric/ hybrid vehicle.

the types of electric/hybrid vehicles available
hazards associated with motor vehicle high energy electrical systems
working safely around electric/hybrid vehicles including charging
