On this one-day course, aimed at beginners, you will learn how to take control of your camera and gain the skills and knowledge to enable you to improve your photography - with tips, advice and strategies from an experienced Photography tutor aimed at helping you take great photos.
You will learn how to use a range of digital camera functions and settings, including manual and semi-automatic modes.
Having learned the basic theory, you will then undertake practical activities.
Having completed the practical tasks, you will then learn how to transfer your images to a computer and how to carry out some basic editing tasks.

You will be given access to a computer and bespoke editing software.
You will be provided with electronic resources to enhance your learning experience and provide a reminder of the knowledge learned.
Learners will produce an electronic portfolio to evidence completion of the course.

An interest in photography a basic understanding of photography fundamentals and camera controls and/or Preferably completion of Introduction to Digital Photography at Level 1.
Upon completion of the course, you can progress onto Level 1: Introduction to Digital Photography.
