About this course

Students studying this qualification will develop practical  skills to assist with record keeping. Learners  will also develop an awareness of Making Tax Digital (MTD) and HMRC requirements.

Students will cover transactions for accuracy, make entries in appropriate books and ledgers and calculate sales invoices and credit notes.

What you will study

  • Understand record-keeping requirements for self-employed individuals.
  • Understand business income and allowable expenses.
  • Understand basic financial statements.
  • Be able to use digital software to record income and expenditure.
  • Understand HMRC digital reporting requirements.

Assessment will be by assignment.
