My journey at CAVC has been both fun and rewarding, filled with challenges and the joy of meeting so many incredible people along the way. I’ve been with CAVC for nearly three years now, starting as a trainee lecturer. During this time, CAVC supported me in completing my PGCE, enabling me to become a fully qualified lecturer.
One of the key positives of working at CAVC is the supportive and inclusive environment. The college genuinely invests in its staff's professional development, as I experienced firsthand when they supported me through my PGCE. I also enjoy the opportunity to work with such a diverse group of colleagues and students, which makes every day unique and enriching. What I love most about my job is being able to inspire and support students on their educational journeys, helping them to achieve their goals and realize their potential.
Working at CAVC has provided me with incredible opportunities for professional growth. I started as a trainee lecturer, and CAVC supported me by funding and guiding me through my PGCE, allowing me to become a fully qualified lecturer. This not only enhanced my skills but also gave me the confidence to excel in my role. Additionally, I’ve had access to continuous professional development opportunities, such as training sessions and workshops, which have helped me refine my teaching methods and stay updated in my field. The experiences I’ve gained here have been invaluable in shaping my career.
