About this course
This is the first year of a 2 year Level 3 course, in which a Certificate can be achieved in the first year, or an Diploma if both years are completed.
Alongside this course, a Level 2 Certificate in Cabin Crew will be delivered to offer further variety and an insight into the industry. This will be achieved if both years are completed.

- Aircraft Emergency Situations
- Dealing with Passengers on the Aircraft
Entry requirements
5 GCSE's A* - C including English Language and/or Maths (or equivalent) or Level 2 Diploma in Travel and Tourism or similar area
Teaching and assessment
Continuous assignments including coursework and online skills tests.

I was attracted to CAVC because I felt like the college environment would be the right suit for me – as I wanted to study something that I loved. I felt like Cardiff and Vale College was able to offer me much more than just my course as I was part of the Netball Academy and a course rep.
My favourite thing about the Travel and Tourism course is how diverse it is – we were never just stuck in the classroom. During my course, we had the opportunity to spend two weeks in Palma doing a work placement, and learning in a practical environment.Since finishing my course, I have now progressed to working for Swissport at Cardiff Airport.
