To successfully achieve your ILM Level 5 Award, you will be required to attend 5 mandatory in-person classroom sessions and tutorial sessions with your tutor on the dates below:
Day 1: Tuesday 2nd February 2027, 9.30-4pm
Day 2: Tuesday 9th March 2027, 9.30-4pm
Day 3: Tuesday 20th April 2027, 9.30-4pm
Day 4: Tuesday 18th May 2027, 9.30-4pm
Day 5: Tuesday 22nd June 2027, 9.30-4pm
Day 6: Tuesday 20th July 2027, 9.30-4pm
Day 7: Tuesday 17th August 2027, 9.30-4pm
Modules Covered
Unit 500: Understanding the Skills, Principles and Practice of Effective Coaching and Mentoring within an Organisational Context
Unit 501: Undertaking Effective Coaching or Mentoring within an Organisational Context (18 hours of coaching practice within an organisation)
Unit 503: Reviewing Own Ability as a Coach or Mentor within an Organisational Context
Assessment Options
This qualification consists of 3 modules, each with a comprehensive assignment consisting of; a written theory-based assignment, a portfolio of 18 hours of coaching within an organisation, and a reflective-based assignment.
Self-study time is essential to help you complete your assignments and prepare for your assessment – so be sure to plan your schedule accordingly.
You will receive full support throughout, with guidance from your dedicated ILM tutor via email, Microsoft TEAMS, phone and during your tutorial days.
Once you have successfully passed both modules, you will be awarded your ILM Level 5 Certificate in Effective Coaching Certificate, along with a digital credential badge to share and celebrate your achievement online.
