GCSE Mathematics Intermediate evening classes (17.45 to 20.45) are available on any of the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Or various times in day for full-time students.
This is a one-year course and covers the four main areas of mathematics: algebra, geometry and probability; number; measure and statistics.
This GCSE is one of two mathematics based GCSEs (the other being GCSE Mathematics-Numeracy) and it may be studied with or without GCSE Mathematics-Numeracy. GCSE Mathematics has all the content of GCSE Mathematics–Numeracy with additional content in the areas of algebra, geometry and probability.
Full-time students should take this subject alongside three or four other subjects as part of the GCSE programme or other full-time course of study.
There are two exams in June, one with a calculator and one without.
