The UAL Level 4 Professional Diploma in Creative Enterprise-Music Business and Entrepreneurship has been designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to build sustainable careers within the contemporary music industry. The qualification focuses on developing entrepreneurial thinking, commercial awareness and professional practice across a range of music business contexts, including self-employment, start-ups and portfolio careers. This qualification provides students with the opportunity to enhance their employability by developing core music business and enterprise skills, expanding their industry networks, and initiating professional projects aligned to their career ambitions.
Through applied learning, students explore artist development, branding and marketing, live events, digital distribution, intellectual property and business planning, gaining the practical knowledge needed to succeed in today’s music sector.

AS/A-Level/L3 Performing arts qualification or equivalent experience. Performing Arts students will be expected to undertake an audition. It is also recommended that students have a minimum of GCSE grade 4 or grade C (or an equivalent Level 2 qualification) in both English and Maths. International students are expected to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English with a recommended minimum IELTS (or equivalent) score of 5.0 An interview/audition will be required to assess suitability of candidates. You must be 18+ years of age.
After completing this course you can go on to complete the full 2-year Extended Diploma. Many students progress onto courses at university, others go directly into employment. CAVC offers a HNC in Sport Coaching which if competed successfully leads on to a top up at Cardiff Metropolitan University to complete the full degree course.
