Creative Production Bootcamp

The Creative Production Bootcamp is an intensive, industry led training programme designed to provide authentic industry exposure and prepare participants for progression into production roles and further training. The bootcamp combines practical production activities with focused technical skills development, giving participants the opportunity to observe live broadcasts and work alongside professional production teams in a real broadcast environment.

Through Q&A sessions and masterclasses with experienced production professionals, learners gain direct insight into industry practice, while structured employability support and portfolio development ensure they leave with tangible evidence of their skills and readiness for progression.

A defining feature of this bootcamp is that participants will have the unique opportunity to observe and participate in live broadcasts operating from the Cymru Broadcast Centre, providing direct exposure to real broadcast workflows, professional teams and live production settings.

Ideal Participants: Individuals aged 18+ with an interest in working in:

• Live broadcast production
• Media and creative production
• Live events and broadcasting 

Suitable for people who:

• Have a genuine interest in live production (technical and editorial)
• May have some basic experience (formal or informal)
• Are motivated to develop professional production skills
• Are willing to learn and work in fast-paced, team-based environments
• Can commit to intensive, in-person training days
• No requirement for prior professional experience, but strong motivation and commitment are essential
