The aim of the course is to develop your knowledge, skills and understanding of working creatively with a variety of 2D and 3D recycled jewellery techniques. The course will enable learners to explore, experiment with and understand forming, embossing, constructing, needle felting, and the development of a personal jewellery project.
You will be able to investigate and usea range of recycled jewellery materials and processes. You will build a portfolio of experimental and creativework, and you will developa final outcomeof your choice drawing on the techniques and processes explored on thecourse.

Week 2:Recycled paper jewellery

Week 5: Joining a glueing techniques
Week 6:Repurposing old jewellery
Week 7:Personal project proposal
Week 8-10: Self-Identified Project (using jewellery processes of choice)

The college has extensive Art & Design workshops and computer facilities. This course will be based in the art and design rooms with access to a wide range of specialist facilities that you will need for this course. Other specialist areas include fine art, ceramics and printmaking.
Learners who successfully complete this course could progress onto other part time courses which include: Art, Craft and Design Level 2, Digital Modelling and Fabrication Level 3. Learners could also consider progressing on to our full time courses:
